CBSE Declares CTET February 2026 Results: Over 5.9 Lakh Candidates Qualify

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially announced the results for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) February 2026 session. Candidates who appeared for this national-level eligibility test can now access their scorecards through the official portal

The CTET 2026 examination was conducted on February 7 and 8 across 140 cities in India, with a re-exam held on March 1 at two centres. The test was conducted in two shifts each day—morning and afternoon—covering both Paper 1 (for Classes I to V) and Paper 2 (for Classes VI to VIII). The provisional answer key was released on March 12, and candidates were allowed to raise objections until March 15 by paying a fee of Rs1000 per question.

How to Check Your Result

Candidates can download their marksheet by following these steps –

1. Visit the official website: ctet.nic.in or cbseresults.nic.in.
2. Click on the link titled “CTET Feb 2026 Result”.
3. Enter your Roll Number and other required login credentials.
4. View and download the scorecard for future reference.

Qualifying Criteria and Validity

To be declared “Qualified,” candidates from the General category must secure a minimum of 60% (90 out of 150 marks). Candidates from Reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/Differently Abled) are eligible for a relaxation, requiring a minimum of 55% (82 out of 150 marks).

It is important to note that the CTET qualifying certificate now comes with lifetime validity. This certificate is a mandatory requirement for applying to teaching positions in central government schools such as Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVS) and Navodaya Vidyalayas (NVS).

Digital Certificates via DigiLocker

CBSE will soon upload the digital marksheets and eligibility certificates to DigiLocker. Candidates can access these using the mobile number provided during their registration. These digital documents are legally valid under the IT Act and can be shared electronically for recruitment processes.
